How many Women are General Contractors?

I read an article in the Hippo Press regarding women in construction.   They state that nationally women make up only 2 percent of the building industries workers and that the NH Building Pathways program is recruiting and training women for careers in construction.

I have to admit I wish when I was younger I would have worked more with Keith in the field as opposed to just running the office.  I have no idea how to use a nail gun, drill, saw or how to set forms for building an addition or a garage.  Even installing new replacement windows you need to have some skill to replace them.  My strength is running the office, networking, social media and customer service, I understand the whole building process but not know how to use the tools.  I can help Keith to quote, an addition (garage, family room, master bedroom, in-law apartment, sunroom), decks, front porch, basement remodel, kitchen remodel and bathroom remodel.
