The Merrimack NH deck is progressing very nicely, I have not been over to the job to take pictures to post but hopefully by the end of the week I will. Keith installed a http Harvey Industry sliding glass door to replace two double hung windows so the Homeowner will have access to deck from the house. Today the http Electrician, Evan Jones, Master Electrician will be wiring for an exterior light, exterior outlet and a junction box for future use. The Homeowner was so pleased with Evan’s work and professionalism that he emailed me the following “I just got back from the house. I went home briefly to touch base with Evan Jones the electrician. We discussed our electrical needs / wants and where switches and outlets were to be located. I can see why you would use him as an electrician. Evan seems to be a nice guy and is very professional.” If you ever need an Electrician, Allen Remodeling, highly recommends Evan Jones!
Now that I have shown you the back of the house which showcases the deck take a look at the transformation on the front of the house. I especially like the cherry red color of the door and the black shutters that highlight the new grey color of the house. The house is truly transformed and the Homeowner is absolutely ecstatic. I which you could see how magnificent the replacement windows look I know how satisfied the Homeowner will be this winter when her energy bills are reduced due to the airtight fit of the new windows and the energy efficient glass (low-e and argon materials).
Our project in Milford NH is finished, the house looks brand new. All the exterior work came out fabulous, new Azek deck, Harvey Industry Replacement Windows, Anderson Sliding Glass Door, Siding Replacement and a brand new color painted to compliment the house. The Homeowner is just thrilled and excited to have her home updated.
This week we will be building a new 18X16 deck for previous customer of ours in Merrimack NH. Last year we replaced all the windows in his home with energy efficient Harvey Industry Replacement Windows. This summer we are building him a deck made of http Azek composite decking (Azek is really all PVC plastic decking, their is no wood in the product) and will be putting in a granite slab at the base of the stairs. Today we are digging the sono tubes for the Inspector to check for the proper dimensions of 8”x48’ a hole, after his stamp of approval today we will fill the holes with cement and let them cure before we start building. Our building materials are always delivered by Currier Lumber in Amherst NH, they provide great customer service.
Today Keith will be putting in the garden window at the Milford NH job, unfortunately they will not be able paint because it rained last night and we might get some showers today. All the other window replacements are installed along with the 4 new construction windows (there was too much rot around the windows to put in replacement windows) and they all look fantastic. The Homeowner loves the clean new look, how easy they tilt in to clean and best of all how they will save her money this winter. I found out just last month that the government is still giving a small rebate to Homeowners who install energy efficient replacement windows, another great windows to install them before the year is over.
