Sunroom with Harvey Panels
We enjoy longer days and beautiful weather in the Spring and Summer months but what about those darn black flies and mosquitos??? A few years ago we built this three season room, sunroom, for a customer in Amherst NH using Harvey Industry (Harvey Building Products) three season building kit. Let me take a moment to explain how we built the structure, first we built the deck using Azek decking and then built the roof structure and applied shingles. The walls are panels built by Harvey Industries, the kit comes with wall brackets and screen inserts but the most exciting part of the kit is you can order glass inserts so you can enjoy the room for part of the winter. Have you ever wondered when building a front porch how the cement steps are removed. I always have and when Keith built the farmers porch in Manchester NH last week I went to the job site to watch the removal. A firm in Greenville NH comes with a crane, lifts the steps, loads them onto another truck, takes it back to their plant and demolishes the steps to be used for other projects.

Jeremiah and Keith recently finished the front porch in Manchester NH. We used pressure treated framing and Azek decking and railings to complete this beautiful front porch. The farmers porch consists of many upgrades as well from ceiling fans, lattice around the bottom of the porch and Azek white trim boards to cover the pressure treated framing. The Homeowner loved the deck so much he called it “sexy”. The framing is going nicely at the farmers porch in Manchester NH. As you can see the framing for the deck includes the ledger board and the girder board. The roof is a hip roof style that accents the current roof of the home. The Homeowner has chosen Azek Decking for the deck and stairs in the premium color Kona.
