We are starting a new job this week in Amherst NH.  The Homeowner needed a General Contractor to provide some reconstruction work on the exterior of the house, fixing cracks in the foundation, repair and replacing rotted siding and painting their farmers porch.  We will also be repairing the interior of the master bedroom, they currently have wallpaper on the walls and some cracks in the ceiling.  Keith and Jeremiah will be removing the wallpaper and skim coating all the walls.  Then at the completion they will paint the entire room.

Another job we are starting this week is in Milford NH where the Homeowner needs some rotted cedar siding replaced and an exterior door replaced.

Working on smaller jobs are a great referral for Allen Remodeling as it provides filler spots during larger jobs.  If you or any of your friends need any Handyman work performed have them call us.

Do you know that Allen Remodeling also provides painting services for the interior and exterior of your home??  Last year we built a two story addition in Lyndeborough NH which we stunningly painted the interior of the new addition and the entire exterior of the house plus the new addition.

Last year we also built a second story in Bedford NH but when the addition was finished in November it was too cold to paint the exterior.  So during some nice weather in April we were able to paint the exterior of this two story home.   After we framed, insulate, drywalled and installed the finish trim we painting the interior but was able to perform that last fall so the Homeowner can move in.

Come to think about it we also painted the exterior of homes in Hollis, Amherst and Milford last year.  When it rains it pours painting jobs !!

Facelift for your deck

I was reading the Home & Garden Supplement of the Amherst Citizen and they had some great articles on Home Improvements and Home Remodeling.  One interesting article I have been blogging about for some time, how to upgrade your existing deck, choosing to replace your deck’s pressure treated decking with an updated maintenance free/composite decking.  We can remove your old pressure treated decking and railings and install new maintenance free decking and railings.  Keith prefers Azek decking and railings as they are durable, pleasing to the eyes and the best value for your dollar.  We built a front porch for a homeowner in Manchester NH and Merrimack NH last month and used the Azek products.
