Hooray for Jerry finishing up the vinyl siding on the garage addition in Merrimack NH. This past week we finished up framing the loft, we built interior stairs and roofed the garage. This week the vinyl siding is going up and the cement pad was poured. The place looks fantastic! Today Evan Jones was in to install all the electric and on Friday the garage doors will be installed by Fimbel Garage Doors. The Homeowner is very excited for his garage so that he can tinker and build small projects. The garage addition in Merrimack NH is coming along very nicely. The addition is totally framed and we are waiting for Jeremiah to put the shingles on the roof, he is the best shingle installer! The next phase is for the electrician, Evan Jones, to install the electrical, the cement pad contractor, Gary Senecal will complete the garage floor. Then Keith and Jeremiah will finish up the exterior vinyl siding and this garage addition will be complete. When building a front porch or a deck for a homeowner I will usually pick up a hanging plant from the Garden Center, the flowers are just beautiful.

Over the years we have built several in-law apartments for our customers. One situation, an aging parent is unable to support herself any longer, she sells her home and with her new equity is able to build an in law addition onto her son’s home. The detached garage currently being built in Merrimack NH has the first floor walls built. This project will have a second story loft so Keith and Jeremiah will use floor trusses to clear span the garage portion to eliminate columns in the garage. The loft will be used for storage and possible work shop equipment. Next week they will be installing roof rafters, finishing the roof and putting vinyl siding on.
