The garage addition in Amherst NH just started yesterday, Kenny Rocca of Wilton NH is our excavator and as you can see from the pictures he has dug the necessary holes so we can form a 4’ foundation for the garage. This garage addition is going to be a workshop/garage and the first floor and on the second floor will be a family room. The structure will have a gable style roof line with two large dormers and each side. This is going to be an amazing project for Allen Remodeling General Contractor.
The kitchen remodel in Amherst NH is coming along nicely as you can see from the picture. Keith, Jeremiah and Tyler are working hard installing the base cabinets and upper cabinets, they have also installed hardwood flooring in the kitchen and hallway. Evan Jones the electrician, Milford NH, did a fabulous job with the lighting and outlets and David Pollack of Merrimack NH, the plumber, provided new supply lines for the kitchen sink and water line for the refrigerator. We should have this project wrapped up by next week and the Homeowner can start cooking again!
We will also be starting two new jobs in Amherst NH for the month of September. One is a home improvement project to remove a support wall to open two rooms, between the kitchen and dining room, and install an LVL. This job will take approximately 3 -5 days to complete. Next week we will be starting a garage addition in Amherst NH to include a family room on the second floor. Wow, the Amherst NH kitchen is completely gutted, appliances discarded, cabinets in the dumpster, flooring removed and the walls patched. The electrician, Evan Jones, installed some recessed lights, moved some outlets and light switches around. We also had our plumber, David Pollack come by to install a water line for the ice machine in the refrigerator.
The hardwood flooring will be delivered tomorrow, it will acclimate to the house for a couple of days before Keith and the boys install the flooring. Once installed the cabinets should have been delivered and Keith and the crew will install them as well. The final stage of this kitchen remodel job is painting the entire kitchen area. Earlier this summer we completed a bathroom remodel for the same homeowner but unfortunately pictures are difficult to take in bathrooms.
